Just outside Salim’s apartment, buskers often play on the street for tips. One evening Salim enjoys hearing Steve Fogel strumming some sublime tunes. Steve is very proficient on the guitar, and Salim decides to write a good review of the performance for his article in the San Myshuno Times.
Closet Review
Salim checks out The Blue Velvet nightclub in Willow Creek. It doesn’t have a dancefloor or a DJ, instead opting for blues on the speakers and piano music. After meeting flirty Naomi Shibuya at the lively bar, Salim also gets to give the club’s closets a thorough review.
Villa Bovine
A new Italian restaurant called Villa Bovine opens in Newcrest, so Salim takes the opportunity to use the venue for a dinner date. Gal Gebara delivers Salim’s mail every morning and he couldn’t resist asking her out.
Drinks at the Inn
Salim Benali decides to check out some venues outside of San Myshuno and opts for grabbing some drinks at the Old Quarter Inn in Windenburg. The Inn has a warm, traditional vibe and a great selection of beverages, but Salim enjoys the company of the inn’s local clientele the most.
The Critic
Salim Benali is the hottest new Arts Critic for San Myshuno Times! Author of “Hot Hangouts of San Myshuno“, Salim is the man to ask about which venues are worth visiting and which street performers are worth tipping.
Boys in the Hood
Erik joins Salim Benali and Genji Fujita in the lobby of Medina Studios apartments when some visitors appear. Baako Jang and Khaled Assaoui live in the nearby Hakim House apartments and dropped by to get to know the neighbours. Khaled presents a gourmet fruitcake as a gift and encourages them all to try it.
Step Up
These young professionals work hard, but also play hard! Veer, Brynlee and Erik go clubbing in Windenburg and strut their stuff on the dancefloor at Discotheque Pan Europa. A crowd cheers them on as they perform perfectly synchronised moves.
The Doctor Is In
Goodbye to the scrubs! Veer can now call himself Dr Srivastava after gaining his qualifications to be a General Practitioner. He shows off his new doctor coat to hospital receptionist Ronin Kawasaki.
House Call
Veer attends a house call in Windenburg where several patients have been quarantined with an unknown illness. Patient Hassan Shadid gets a thorough checkup, and Veer examines symptoms including a high temperature and increased levels of thirstiness.
Pioneer of New Technologies
Lab receptionist Karter Jhang comments that Erik is looking especially cheerful when he clocks into work one morning. Things are going really well for Erik at work, having made several breakthroughs and being promoted to Pioneer of New Technologies.
