Lance makes a good impression upon meeting Babs and Andre, and they invite him to move in with them. They get to know their new buddy, and learn that Lance is a bit of a geek, but also a bit of a bro.

Answering the Ad
Lance Whitley arrives in Oasis Springs, seeking a new place to live close to the SpaceY launch site where he’s just been hired as a technician. Answering the ad he saw about a room available in the area, Lance shows up to meet his potential new housemates.
Looking for a New Housemate
Since their friend Steve moved out, Andre and Babs have a spare room. Andre suggests that it’s time they start looking for a new housemate. Babs agrees, and starts browsing through dating websites for hot-looking guys.
Something in Common
Cassidy meets Arnav Bhandari for a quiet date at Club Calico. Most of the other guests are at the bar outside, so they have the lounge to themselves. Arnav explains that he doesn’t like crowds of strangers, which is something in common that Cassidy also feels.
Coffee Date
After hitting it off with Kenji Hatanaka at the bar, Cassidy gets invited out for a coffee with him the next morning. Kenji’s a rising star in the DJ world, and he often headlines dance parties at clubs and events. Cassidy admires how Kenji can be so confident around of crowds of people.
Potential Dates
Cassidy decides to scope out Patchy’s bar on Guys Night, on the lookout for potential dates. She usually isn’t comfortable socialising with strangers, but she isn’t going to find a meaningful relationship unless she ventures forth and sees what’s out there.
At Home
June asks her husband Steve if he slept well during his first night officially moved into his new home. Steve has spent the night here many times, but admits that it will take some time to adjust; but no matter where he is, he’ll feel at home with her beside him.
End of an Era
It’s the end of an era. Steve is leaving Oasis Springs and moving in with his new wife June in Newcrest. Andre gives Steve a hug and says that it won’t be the same around the house, but no matter where they live, they’ll always be best friends.
What Could Have Been
Babs and Andre joke around and wonder if they would have eventually gotten married if they never broke up? Before old feelings get stirred, they decide not to dwell upon what could have been and just enjoy the fantastic party food.
Piece of Cake
Steve and June share the first bite of their wedding cake together. Steve made the cake himself, and being a foodie with discerning tastebuds, it had to be excellent. June confirms that the cake is delicious – and she would know, being a foodie too.
