Some of the residents of Courtyard Lane pop by to hang out with the Pancakes, and they bring some gourmet fruitcake. Bob learns how his neighbours are all parents and reveals that he and his wife Eliza are planning for a baby.
PlantSims
Eliza is heading home after work when she notices a green-skinned man walking by. She stops to chat with Hassan Shadid, who reveals that there’s an outbreak of people turning into PlantSims after some forbidden fruit circulated around. Hassan’s doctor assured him that it is a temporary condition.
Magic Beans
Eliza meets a woman named Jasmine Holiday who claims that a mystic tree will grow if a set of magic beans from PlantSims is placed in a magic stump at Magnolia Blossom Park. Intrigued, Eliza collects some beans from PlantSims wandering the neighbourhood and follows the instructions… which prove to be true!
Baby on the Way
After trying for a baby, Eliza takes a pregnancy test. When the test turns positive, Eliza excitedly shares the news with her husband Bob that there’s a baby on the way! Having a baby will change their lives, but as they hold each other’s hands, they know they’re ready.
Time for a Nursery
The weeks go by and Eliza enters the third trimester of her pregnancy. Bob feels her belly and is amazed at how big it is. The baby is surely about to arrive! It’s definitely time for a nursery, so Bob and Eliza begin redecorating the spare room.
Silver Dollar Pancake
Is that a Silver Dollar Pancake? Nope. It’s the latest addition to the Pancakes household! Arriving home from the hospital, Eliza gets some much needed rest while Bob gives an early morning feed to his newborn son, Iggy Pancakes.
New Friend
Darrin Sierra is invited over to the house next door to play. He’s introduced to his neighbour, Iggy Pancakes, and is intrigued to meet another kid his own age. Iggy isn’t afraid of strangers and welcomes his new friend to his room.
Resemblance
Eliza Pancakes watches as her son Iggy and husband Bob enjoy a play session. When Iggy was a baby, he had darker skin and had a resemblance to Bob. But as he grew, Iggy’s skin became fairer and his red hair shows that Eliza’s genes are becoming more dominant.
Flash Cards
Iggy is becoming more communicative every day, so Eliza shows him some flash cards to teach him how to ask for help with basic needs. Eliza holds up a card with an image of a toilet, and Iggy learns how to ask for help to go potty.
