Karim and some of his fellow police officers go on a weekend camping trip to Granite Falls. The forest ranger, Katsu Yokohama, welcomes them to the park and advises where to pick up essential camping supplies.

Karim is still active in the clubbing scene in Windenburg, and his friend Candy Behr suggests that he joins the Spin Masters, the DJing and dancing club she’s in. Karim accepts the invitation, and shows off his DJ skills in their private club hangout.

Karim can’t get Cat out of his mind and has to see her again. Following on from their successful date at the diner, Karim takes Cat to fancy restaurant Chez Llama where they can go dressed up in their formalwear.

Karim listens as his good friend and neighbour Hugh Robles confesses to committing an act of vandalism. Karim swears he can see an aura of stress emanating from Hugh’s body. Karim felt bad interrogating a friend, but nobody is above the law.

Between catching criminals, Karim has kept up his DJ mixing skills and created his own custom mix, a dance tune he titles “Euphoria”. Interested parties want to use the song, so Karim licenses it out for some royalty income.

Karim asks Cat Espinosa out to get brunch at Sunny Side Up Diner. The diner offers a great casual atmosphere to get to know each other better and chat about the latest books they’re reading. Currently, they’re both into the romance genre…

Karim volunteers to go on patrol in his home neighbourhood – Windenburg’s Old Quarter. He pops into the local library and is stunned by the beauty of the new librarian, Cat Espinosa. Their eyes meet, and Karim can tell she likes him too.

Senior Detective Karim Al Habib. He’s finally made it to the upper ranks and gets to put away the old beat cop uniform and strut about the station in a stylish shirt and tie and with his badge proudly on his belt. Time to bust some perps!
