Being a police officer has minimum fitness requirements, but Karim would like to be in peak physical condition. He travels to Movers and Shakers gym in Willow Creek and gets a training session from gym trainer Pedro Cabello.

Some of the officers suggest going out for drinks to celebrate Karim’s promotion and they head to The Old Quarter Inn in Windenburg after work. Buying a round of beers, Karim is grateful to be working with such great colleagues and new friends.

Officer Orion Sheng praises Karim for closing so many cases. Karim’s promotion to Detective is well deserved. Karim asks if Orion would want to become a detective someday, but he’s happy being a uniformed patrol officer working with the community.

Karim is surprised when a vandalism investigation leads to the Police Station’s own lab tech being the main suspect! Karim interrogates Eddie Begum with the evidence and Eddie confesses guilt.

Becoming a police officer doesn’t mean Karim has to give up his passion for being a DJ. In his downtime, he works on perfecting a custom mix using his personal DJ booth in the comfort of his home.

Karim chats with Chief of Police Daichi Ishikawa. The Chief’s sister Mako is also a police officer and they’ve both been catching criminals for decades. The Chief is usually stern and surly but with his sister around his demeanour is totally different. He actually smiles and makes jokes!

Hugh Robles is Karim’s next door neighbour, and they both live in Windenburg’s Old Quarter. Hugh suggests going out for drinks at The Shrieking Llama on Bear Night, and Karim tells Hugh all about his new job.

Karim Al Habib completes his first day orientation at Willow Creek Police Station as a new cadet and meets fellow police officer Orion Sheng. Karim tells Orion how he hopes to complete his training and start on the path to becoming a detective.
