After having left his previous job as a professional DJ headliner, Akito isn’t sure what to pursue as a career. His Uncle Daichi suggests joining the police force. Before he retired, Daichi was the Chief of Police, so he’d love it if Akito followed family tradition. Akito says he’ll think about it.

Mako Ishikawa is a dancing queen. She loves to dance. Maybe that’s why her son Akito grew up loving music, making music and became a DJ? Akito knows he’s made a good DJ mix when he sees his mother dancing along to the beat.

Back when she was a detective, Mako always worked well with detective Kengo Shimizu. They felt an attraction toward each other, but Mako had a rule against dating co-workers, which he respected. But now that she’s retired, maybe it’s time for these former colleagues to hook up?
Peak Fitness
Nina Caliente arrives at Akito’s home before they head out on a date. She’s impressed by how much fitter he looks since they last hooked up. After spending a lot of time at the gym, Akito has reached peak fitness, and shows off with a sexy flex.
Gym Encounter
Ayaka Arashiro visits the large gym in Oasis Springs and encounters a handsome looking guy. Akito Ishikawa is on his way to the weight lifting machines when he stops to say hello. Ayaka can tell he does a lot of working out. After a pleasant chat, they exchange phone numbers.
Joining the Force
Dressed in full police uniform, Akito Ishikawa presents himself to his Uncle Daichi for inspection. Akito took the plunge and joined the Police Force. Being the former chief, Daichi couldn’t be more proud of his nephew for answering the call to protect and serve the community.
Pranked
Akito has trouble processing a suspect’s prints at the booking station. When he returns from asking a colleague why the machine may have failed, he finds Martha Noonan has transformed into an alien. Akito assumes it must be a prank they play on the new cadets, and takes her mugshot like a professional.
Crime Scene
Akito gets assigned to a case helping one of the detectives. At the crime scene in Newcrest, it appears that some vandalism has taken place. Akito interviews a witness, Amie Kalani. Amie says she saw someone in an angry mood kicking over all the trash cans and provides a description.
Rookies
Police Chief Karim Al Habib checks in with two of the new rookie cops at the station. Jack Carson is a promising junior officer and Akito Ishikawa has big shoes to fill – Akito’s Uncle Daichi taught Karim everything he knows about being Chief. Karim has high expectations of them both.
